These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Invoice Yarn, a voice-first invoicing service operated by Invoice Yarn ("we", "our", "us"). By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Invoice Yarn provides a voice-activated web application that connects small-scale farmers, producers, and creatives to their accounting software. The service includes speech-to-text transcription, invoice drafting, contact and product management, and integration with Xero accounting software.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use this service. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at security@invoiceyarn.com.
Certain features of the service require a paid subscription. Subscription fees, billing intervals, and feature availability are described on the pricing page within the application. All fees are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

The service integrates with Xero via OAuth2. By connecting your Xero account, you authorise us to read your contacts, products, and invoices, and to create and send invoices on your behalf. You may revoke this access at any time via your Xero account settings. Invoice Yarn is not affiliated with Xero and makes no warranties regarding the availability or performance of the Xero platform.
The Invoice Yarn name, logo, and application code are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission. You retain all rights to your business data (contacts, products, invoices) and voice recordings.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the service, you consent to the practices described in that policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Invoice Yarn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) where to do so would contravene that law.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that speech-to-text transcriptions will be accurate. Invoice Yarn is a tool to assist with invoicing — you remain responsible for verifying the accuracy of all invoices before sending them to customers.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you breach these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time from within the application or by emailing hello@invoiceyarn.com. Upon termination, your access to the service ceases and your data will be deleted or anonymised within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or through the service. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
